Aerials for Digital Reception

There is no such thing as a Digital Aerial. All aerials will pick up both analogue and digital signals to a certain extent. The only criterion that must be met is that it is designed to receive all the required signals. Some of the digital signals may be out of the reception band of your existing aerial and will therefore not be as reliable and an aerial change may be required. Having said that when we install a new aerial we will use a quality one to maximise the digital signals present. All aerials we use are CAI benchmarked (where technically possible) ensuring the best possible reception for both digital and analogue signals. If you presently receive reliable signals with an aerial that has been in use for years then don’t change it until you need to.
