T.V. and Satellite Ltd (previously called Village Video) was formed as an aerial installation company in 1988 by the current proprietors, Les & Elsie Hampson. We are based in Great Horwood, a small village between Buckingham and Milton Keynes.

We offer a complete service from small domestic work to large commercial systems in hotels and flats , etc. All our engineers are qualified and have several years’ experience in the aerial and satellite trade. We also have City and Guilds qualifications for the design and installation of large multi-point systems including Master Antenna Television (MATV), Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV) and Integrated Reception Systems (IRS).

As members of The Confederation of Aerial Industries Ltd (CAI), membership number C0718, we are in the position to give double guarantees on all our domestic installations. In short, in the unlikely event that we should cease trading the CAI will honour our guarantee. Membership has other benefits to the consumer; we are regularly inspected for quality of work and administration and have a strict code of practice to abide by. This means that you, the consumer, will receive an excellent standard of workmanship with quality materials at a fair price. All CAI members must also carry a public and product liability insurance of at least £2million. The CAI has introduced a new category CAI +. In addition to the normal requirements for membership CAI + members have to:

  • prove they work safely at heights and every three years have to go on a safety training course.
  • undergo criminal record checks. You can be sure that every engineer that carries a CAI + badge has been vetted for a criminal record.

We are qualified installers for Sky Digital and, although we can’t supply new contracts, we can install the dish to a very professional standard, in many cases making it virtually invisible . We are also able to supply replacement receivers if your existing one goes faulty.

We can also supply and install set-top boxes for digital terrestrial television ( Freeview ) and satellite receivers for both Freesat and foreign language channels.
